Welcome to the wonderful world of aromatherapy

Welcome to Lana Lane.

Lana, in our dialect, means oil. During my childhood, this was a staple in every mom’s apothecary and I grew up oiled every time I had a fever, stomachache, insect bites, burns – name it, the good ol’ Lana can solve it.

I didn’t have many encounters with oils since I moved to urban Manila back in 2005. I transitioned to everything chemical from air sanitizers and sprays, scented candles and the like.

In 2013, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder which caused me two miscarriages. There is no known cause for this acquired disorder – immunologists can only speculate that this is caused by our lifestyle: the food we eat, products we use, our lack of sleep, and just our toxic environment, in general.

This started me, albeit slowly, on the wellness journey. I slept earlier, tried alternative medicine like acupuncture, and ate vegetables! Ha!

When I became a mom in 2016, this is when things really started to get real for me. After all, we always want the best for our children. I wanted something more natural for them.

That was when I have discovered the wonders of aromatherapy when a friend introduced me to the wonderful benefits of essential oils. I was in love ever since.

I continued my education and am currently on the final stages of my aromatherapy certification. My dream is to provide reliable information on the use of essential oils, regardless of the brands that you use, especially to us, moms with young kids.

Hope you enjoy being here.

This workshop by Balot Amechachura – Del Rosario helps me a lot since I’m new to oiling so I have a lot of questions about oils and everything and she attended all my queries very well. She’s very hands-on and she delivers every important information clearly. Also, everything we need were provided and well prepared. I’ve learned so many tips in this workshop from the books we’ll be needing to the trusted sources of oils and materials. One of the most important thing is that she create a group to keep in touch with us so even after workshop she can answer all our questions personally and this is where she shares more tips and information to us which really helped me. Very thankful for this workshop and I’m looking forward to attend more workshops with you.
